Resolved Section(s):
RESOLVED: That MSMS supports the resentencing of persons who are currently serving a sentence for offenses for which the penalty is reduced, so long as the person does not pose a risk to public safety, and to redesignate or dismiss such offenses from the criminal records of persons who have completed their sentences; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS supports legislation to set aside convictions of marijuana based offenses in certain criminal cases.

Fiscal Note: $1,000 or more for costs related to the adoption of new or revised MSMS or AMA policy.
