RESOLVED: That MSMS reaffirm its position that admission to residency training should be based upon the merit of the applicant; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS amend its Residency Selection policy to read:Admission to residency training shall be based upon the merit of the applicant without regard to race, color, creed, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and country of original medical training when such an applicant has satisfied all current legal and regulatory requirements for medical practice in the United States of America.
