T. Jann Caison-Sorey, MD, Elected Secretary of Michigan State Medical Society
T. Jann Caison-Sorey, MD, MSA, MBA, was elected secretary of the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) during the October Board of Directors meeting. Doctor Caison-Sorey replaces Bassam Nasr, MD, MBA, who passed away unexpectedly in July.
Doctor Caison-Sorey, who received her medical degree from the University of New York, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, NY, will serve as the signatory for official business of the society and perform various ceremonial duties as needed.
Doctor Caison-Sorey is a pediatrician, adolescent medicine physician and medical director at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
