Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine (OUWB) has established the Grace Nolan Fund for the Future of Medicine in honor of Grace Elizabeth Nolan, a second-year medical student and member of the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) and American Medical Association (AMA), who tragically passed away on October 18, 2026.
The fund provides an opportunity to honor Grace's legacy and her passion for medicine. Known for her compassion, dedication, and commitment to helping others, Grace made a lasting impression on her classmates, faculty, and those who knew her at Oakland University. As an active MSMS member, she was a valued part of Michigan's physician community, and she will be deeply missed.
MSMS encourages members who wish to honor Grace's memory to consider supporting the fund and helping carry forward her legacy in medicine.
