Richard E. Burney, MD, Amit Ghose, MD, Annette M. Gilmer, MD, and Dennis M. Ramus, MD have been appointed to the MSMS Board of Directors Nominating Committee. They will serve with current MSMS officers, Phillip G. Wise, MD, President; Paul D. Bozyk, MD, President Elect; Bradley J. Uren, MD, Chair; Leah C. Davis, DO, Vice Chair; and John A. Waters, MD, Treasurer. MSMS extends our sincerest gratitude to all the members who applied. Your willingness to serve MSMS and contribute to our mission is highly valued.
The Nominating Committee will develop the Board of Directors application and review process. The open call for new Board members will take place from June 5 - June 26, 2026. The Nominating Committee will recommend a slate for a member vote from July 10 – July 25, 2026. The first meeting of the new Board will take place on July 30, 2026.
For members interested in MSMS policy, the new Policy Forum and Policy Committee will be rolled out in December. This will include the resolution submission process, online forum, schedule and applications for the Policy Committee. Committee appointments will be finalized in February. The first cycle of resolutions will begin in March.
