As a part of the Reorganization plan recently approved by the House of Delegates, the MSMS Board of Directors is transitioning from 36 members to 13. The Nominating Committee will put forth a slate of recommended candidates for a member vote from July 10 – July 25, 2026. The first meeting of the new Board will take place virtually the evening of July 30, 2026.
The Board of Directors meets quarterly at MSMS headquarters in East Lansing. The schedule is determined a year in advance.
For members interested in MSMS policy, the new Policy Forum and Policy Committee will be rolled out in December. This will include the resolution submission process, online forum, schedule and applications for the Policy Committee. Committee appointments will be finalized in February. The first cycle of resolutions will begin in March.
