The Michigan State Medical Society is accepting applications for the Board of Directors now through June 26, 2026.

- Organizational change and strategic decision making
- Financial understanding and business experience

- Advocacy and policy perspectives
- Contribution and unique perspectives
- Mission, vision and fiduciary responsibility
The Nominating Committee will put forward a slate of recommended candidates for a member vote from July 10 – July 25, 2026. The first meeting of the new Board will take place on July 30, 2026.
For members interested in MSMS policy, the new Policy Forum and Policy Committee will be rolled out in December. This will include the resolution submission process, online forum, schedule and applications for the Policy Committee. Committee appointments will be finalized in February, and the first resolution cycle will begin in March.
