MSMS Member Forums on Reorganization Task Force Recommendations
The Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) is confronting significant structural, financial, and membership challenges that threaten the organization’s long-term sustainability. In response, the MSMS Board of Directors appointed a Reorganization Task Force following resolutions adopted by the 2025 House of Delegates.
The Task Force was charged with developing recommendations to modernize MSMS governance, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen engagement across the organization. After extensive review and deliberation, the Task Force—together with the MSMS Board of Directors—has recommended a comprehensive set of structural changes designed to position MSMS for success over the next decade.
To provide members with an opportunity to learn more and ask questions, MSMS will host Member Forums on the following dates:
