MSMS Hosts Health Can't Wait Coalition Lobby Day
Members of the Health Can’t Wait coalition met with Representatives in Lansing on Thursday to urge action on Senate Bill 247 to reform prior authorization. Physicians from many specialties and corners of the state were able to share their stories about how unnecessary delays to patient care contribute to administrative burdens, higher costs, and, worse, adverse outcomes for patients. The conversations were all productive and affirm the policy is sound and has bipartisan support. MSMS hopes to see movement on the bill soon.
