MSMS Foundation’s 25th Annual Conference on Bioethics: Ethics, Inequality, and Public Health

Meet Keynote Speaker Doctor Nneka Sederstrom who will present on How Did We Get Here? A Brief History of Racism and Bias in Medicine, at the MSMS Foundation’s 25th Annual Conference on Bioethics. 

Doctor Sederstrom is the Chief Health Equity Officer for Hennepin Healthcare.  Prior to joining Hennepin, she was Director of the Clinical Ethics Department at Children’s Minnesota.  And, Director of the Center for Ethics at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, where she also led the Spiritual Care Department and was the creator and Executive Director of the Journal of Hospital Ethics.  She is a recognized national speaker on many topics including racism, racial disparities, bias, crisis standards of care and treatment, end-of-life care, and many aspects of diversity and ethics.
