MSMS Foundation Virtual Monday Night Medicine Series

On May 3rd, the MSMS Foundation welcomed Doctor Marie Brown who provided an interactive presentation on “Practicing Wisely – Save 2 Hours Each Day” as part of our Monday Night Medicine Series.  Her presentation was well received and elicited a lot of audience participation.   

Join us on Monday, May 24, 6:30 -8:00 pm for the second topic in our series “Creating a Manageable Cockpit for Clinicians,” presented by Doctor Christine Sinsky.  Doctor Sinsky is Vice President of Professional Satisfaction at the American Medical Association.  A Board-certified internist, she practiced at Medical Associates Clinic in Dubuque, Iowa for 32 years.  Doctor Sinsky is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the ABIM Foundation, serving as Chair from 2018-2020.  Doctor Sinsky has worked to improve opportunities for joy, purpose and meaning in work.  Publications on “The Quadruple Aim, “Joy in Practice, “Texting while Doctoring” and “Creating a Manageable Cockpit for Clinicians” have contributed to the national conversation.  She has also contributed to research regarding the prevalence, drivers and solutions to burnout among physicians.

The final presentation of our spring/summer three part series will be held on Monday, June 7, 6:30 – 8:00 pm when Doctor Eunice Yu will present on “100% Virtual Collaborative Care for Behavioral Health Outcomes.”
