MSMS Announces 2025 Board Leadership Election Results
The Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) is pleased to announce the results of its 2025 Board elections. The following physician leaders have been elected to serve in key leadership roles, guiding the Society’s strategic direction and advancing its mission to improve the lives of Michigan physicians so they may best care for the people they serve.
- Chair: Paul Bozyk, MD, Oakland County, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Vice Chair: Bradley Uren, MD, Livingston County, Emergency Medicine
- Finance Committee Chair: Eric Larson, MD, Kent County, Anesthesiology
- Health Care Delivery Committee Chair: David Walsworth, MD, Ingham County, Family Medicine
- Legislative Policy Committee Chair: Leah Davis, DO, Grand Traverse-Benzie-Leelanau County, Radiology
- Secretary: Jayne Courts, MD, Kent County, Internal Medicine
- Treasurer: John Waters, MD, Genesee County, Ophthalmology
These newly elected officers bring a wealth of experience, insight, and dedication to their respective roles. Their leadership will be instrumental in shaping MSMS policy, fostering physician engagement, and addressing the evolving challenges facing Michigan’s health care system.
