MDPAC Endorsements for 2022 Election
Over the last several months, the Michigan Doctors’ Political Action Committee (MDPAC) has been working diligently to identify and vet “pro-medicine” candidates seeking election the Michigan House and Senate, as well as the U.S. House. Questionnaires were sent to each candidate, which inquired about a number of important issues including scope of practice, tort reform, prior authorization, public health, and more. The MDPAC Board of Directors also considered voting records for incumbents seeking re-election.
“On behalf of the Michigan Doctors’ Political Action Committee (MDPAC), I am proud to endorse this diverse, bipartisan slate of candidates and legislators. We look forward to working with each of them to advance the cause of medicine for patients and physicians,” said Amit Ghose, MD, Chair of MDPAC.
