The Michigan Doctors’ Political Action Committee (MDPAC) has announced its endorsements for candidates seeking state-level office in the 2026 election.
Endorsements are made by the MDPAC Board of Directors based on a range of factors, including candidate questionnaire responses, past voting records, ties to the physician community, staff recommendations, and previous endorsement status.
Candidates are asked about key issues affecting physicians and patients, including scope of practice, Medicaid reimbursement, corporate practice of medicine, primary care investment, health insurance oversight, medical liability protections, regulatory burdens, and physician recruitment and retention.
