MDHHS Diabetes Improvement Plan Partner Feedback
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Diabetes and Prevention and Control Program is developing a statewide plan to address diabetes prevention and management. Key informant interviews to identify priority areas for the 2021-2025 plan have been completed. The interview feedback illustrated program strengths, gaps that need to be addressed and opportunities for new collaborations.
MDHHS Diabetes Prevention and Control Program is inviting its partner, MSMS, and its members to participate in a web-based forum on July 15 at 11 am. This discussion will review the interview responses, available data and look at the plan’s goals and objectives. This is an opportunity for to give feedback and share thoughts on the draft plan.
