May is Mental Health Awareness Month
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) is reminded of the physicians, physician’s in training, and medical students and staff who have worked on the frontlines throughout the pandemic to ensure patients receive necessary care. All the while, trying to keep themselves and their families healthy and safe. During these stressful times, managing mental health daily can be challenging, but you are not alone. MSMS has identified a wide range of resources to help with stress management, anxiety, and mental health to not only support your patients and staff, but to ensure that you have the tools necessary to prioritize your mental well-being.
MSMS recognizes that it is not easy, but we encourage you to see the benefits of taking a moment to breathe, meditate, and prioritize self-care. Below is a listing of several events and resources to assist on your path to greater overall wellness.
