Join the March for Medicaid on July 30

March for Medicaid

Sixty-one years ago, Medicaid was created as a promise that people would be able to receive the care they need via this safety net.  It has since become one of the most vital health programs in American history providing access to critical health care services for over 67 million people throughout the country.  In Michigan alone, approximately 2.5 million people rely on Medicaid every day, including nearly 1 million children.  However, that original promise is now under serious threat and the consequences of federal changes will be felt in every community across the state.

Join the Protect MI Care Coalition at the Michigan State Capitol on July 30, 2026 - Medicaid's 61st anniversary - for the March for Medicaid, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.   The event will celebrate what this program has meant to Michigan's Medicaid recipients and make clear that Michiganders will not stand by while their coverage is cut.  Don’t miss this opportunity to make your voice heard.
