Gov. Whitmer Reappoints Brad Uren, MD, to MDHHS Committee
Governor Gretchen Whitmer earlier this month announced the appointments to the Michigan Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, which advises the Department of Health and Human Services on issues affecting prescription drug coverage for its various health care programs. The Committee shall recommend to the Department guidelines for prescription drugs covered in its various health care programs.
MSMS member Brad J. Uren, MD, of Pinckney, is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at the University of Michigan and serves as the chair of MSMS's Committee on Legislation and Regulations. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan. Doctor Uren is reappointed to represent physicians for a term expiring October 1, 2021.
