The Doctor Company Returns $15 Million in Premium Dividends
The Doctors Company, the endorsed liability carrier for MSMS, is returning approximately $15.1 million in premium dividends in 2025, bringing the total amount of dividends declared to date to more than $485 million.
Eligible members will receive a dividend on their policy renewals between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026. As in previous years, members must practice in a dividend-eligible state or belong to a select medical society to receive dividends. Michigan is provided 7% in 2024, and will provide 7% in 2025. To be eligible, physicians must be full-time and have TDC insurance for three years. Commissions are calculated on gross premium before dividends are applied. Experience rated accounts are not eligible for a dividend.
