DMC replaces top executive Joe Mullany
The Detroit Medical Center announced Tuesday that it has replaced its top executive.
The medical center said that Joe Mullany, its CEO since 2013, "has left the organization to pursue other opportunities."
His replacement is Dr. Anthony (Tony) Tedeschi, who most recently worked as CEO of four hospitals in the Chicago area owned by DMC's for-profit corporate parent, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.
