HAP Remains in the Michigan
Recent reports suggesting HAP is leaving the Michigan market are inaccurate. HAP will continue to offer Medicare, commercial, and individual off-exchange plans. Citing financial challenges, the plan they previously offered on the ACA exchange is being discontinued. This change affects approximately 20,000 members, who will continue receiving care through the end of 2025 and can select new coverage during open enrollment. HAP members can contact member services at (800) 759-3436 for the HMO and (800) 944-9399 for the PPO.
