CRISIS Lab: Mental Health Suicide Risk in COVID-19 Frontline Healthcare Workers
The CRISIS Lab wants to interview you to learn about your experiences with mental health and suicide risk as a medical staff working with COVID-19 patients such that they can learn how to better support you. Please follow this link: https://tinyurl.com/SPUFrontline to complete a screening questionnaire that will take no more than 5 minutes or visit https://www.crisislab-seattle.com/covid-frontline for more information.
If you qualify for the study, you will then be asked to review detailed information regarding the study and asked to provide consent to participate in the study. Once you provide consent, you will be guided to a scheduling website to schedule your interview with a doctoral student clinician. After the interview, you will be asked to complete weekly surveys for 10 weeks following your interview. The CRISIS Lab will then contact you to complete follow-up surveys six months and one year after your interview to see if there have been any changes to your mental health and suicide risk.
You have the opportunity to receive a total of $30 for participating in this study. You will receive $10 following the interview. At the end of the 10 weeks, you will be compensated with $1 for every follow-up survey you complete for a maximum of $10. You will then be compensated with $5 after each follow-up survey for a total of $10. You have the choice of receiving your compensation through PayPal or in the form of an Amazon gift card.
