Changes to Flu Recommendations for Upcoming Flu Season
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Division of Immunization is working closely with the CDC to assure that an ample supply of Vaccines For Children (VFC) influenza vaccine will be available. Local Health Departments are working with VFC providers to switch pre-booked VFC FluMist to another product for the 2016-2017 flu season.
Providers who ordered FluMist private stock are to follow the guidance sent to them from the manufacturer or distributor.
