Call for Delegates: Your Voice is Needed at the 2026 MSMS HOD
The House of Delegates (HOD) is the official policy-making body of the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS). Resolutions and Board Action Reports are the vehicles used to debate and determine the policies, priorities, and direction of MSMS during the ensuing 12 months and beyond. This year’s HOD meeting will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, beginning at 8:00 am, and will be held virtually via Zoom.
MSMS is currently looking for delegates to serve in the House of Delegates from the following counties and specialty societies:
- International Medical Graduate
- Dermatology
- Infectious Disease
- Neurological Surgeon
- Pathology
- Pediatrics
- Psychiatric
- Psychoanalytic
- Preventive Medicine and Public Health
- Rheumatism- we usually have Amar Majjhoo, MD
- Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons
- Vascular
If you are interested in serving as a delegate and attending the virtual meeting on April 18, 2026, please email Carrie Wheeler at cwheeler@msms.org by February 28, 2026.
Please note, resolutions are due by February 23, 2026. The Reference Committee Meetings will be held virtually via Zoom, in the weeks leading up to the House of Delegates meeting.
