A Day of Board of Medicine Renewal Requirements*
Do you need to complete your state licensing requirements for CME? Earn 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ in just one day at a live, on-site course on Friday, November 7, 2025. This event offers a convenient way to fulfill all the initial licensing and relicensure requirements, including training in implicit bias, pain and symptom management, and medical ethics. The conference will be held from 8:30 am to 4:45 pm EST at the DoubleTree by Hilton Ann Arbor North.
The agenda features a highly relevant session on Pain and Symptom Management that not only meets Licensing and Regulatory Affairs requirements but also fulfills the one-time controlled substance prescribing training and three hours of the Drug Enforcement Administration Medication Access and Training Expansion Act requirement. This session will be led by Carl Christensen, MD, PhD, D-FASAM, FACOG, cMRO, a distinguished expert in addiction medicine, and obstetrics and gynecology.
This is a great opportunity to step away from your practice, reconnect with colleagues, and return to your work refreshed and fully compliant with your continuing education requirements.

29th Annual Conference on Bioethics - Cases That Haunt Us: Examining Medical Ethics Issues Through the Particularly Difficult Cases**
Join us for the 2025 MSMS Conference on Bioethics, an engaging and thought-provoking event focused on the ethical complexity of real-world clinical encounters. This year’s theme, "Cases That Haunt Us: Examining Medical Ethics Issues Through the Particularly Difficult Cases," offers a deep dive into the moral challenges of medicine through the lens of unforgettable, ethically fraught cases.
The conference is highlighted by a keynote address “From Diagnosis to Decision: The (Implicit?) Role of Eugenics in Modern Prenatal Care,” delivered by Chris Ostertag, PhD, Regional Director of Clinical Ethics, Intermountain Health. Doctor Ostertag’s presentation promises to be a powerful examination of the ethical currents influencing modern medical practice.
This event will be held on Saturday, November 8, from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton Ann Arbor North. This is a hybrid conference, so virtual attendance is also available.
