Preventing airborne illnesses in your practice is easier when you install the VidaShield light fixture that uses ultra-violet C to purify the air in your office. VidaShield has an intake fan that draws air into the fixture, filters out particulate and exposes air to UV-C light for purification. Treated air is discharged into the room to recirculate. These fixtures are available with or without a fluorescent downlight. The unit fits into a drop ceiling, just like a standard fluorescent fixture. It does require a secondary power line to allow the UV lamp to be turned on and off. One fixture purifies the air in a 10-by-10-by-8-foot room four times per hour.
