BCBS Global Solutions provides global care in more than 190 counties by helping you find trusted local physicians to coordinate care and manage unexpected medical care. Enrolled members can select from available deductible and out-of-pocket maximums that fit your specific needs. Global Solutions will assist you with finding providers within the Global Solutions network and will process and pay claims upfront as a primary payor and reserves the right, where applicable, to contact your primary insurance carrier to coordinate benefits. Having an in-network coverage option reduces the possible up-front out-of-pocket costs of using an out-of-network provider that you pay, then submit for reimbursement to your normal health insurance carrier. The coverage provides you with 24/7, 365 days per year of coverage, and may be purchased as a single trip or multi-trip policy.
Coverages include medical evacuation, in-patient hospitalization, surgery, anesthesia, office visits, x-rays, telehealth, and even dental care due to injury at 100% along with many other services.
