Smith, MD, MPH, MS, Senior Partner, The Center for Precision Medicine and an internationally known physician, author, and educator, as she discusses the biochemistry and physiology of women’s hormones, factors that influence each step, along with reasons to consider hormone replacement therapy as the standard of care for all women.

Practice Management Webinar Series: Medical Record Regulations and Practice**
From 1:00 – 2:00 pm, join Stacey Hettiger, MSMS Senior Director, Advocacy and Payer Relations, for a presentation on Medical Record Regulations and Practice. Her presentation will review federal and state laws and basic principles related to medical records management including recordkeeping, allowable copying charges, retention, and destruction. Participants will gain a better understanding of the legal and ethical obligations regarding medical records management to ensure compliance.
Participants will learn how to integrate current federal and state recordkeeping requirements into documentation; identify and implement key medical record standards; develop strategies to ensure compliance with federal and state laws related to medical record creation, maintenance, and access; and locate and utilize reliable resources to answer questions about legal and ethical issues related to the management of medical records.
