AMA is Investing in Physician Leaders to Improve Community Health

How would you use $50,000 to help patients in your community? The AMA’s Community Health Impact Lab Micro Grants Program is awarding $50,000 each to 20 physicians with big ideas on how to improve the health of their communities – and you could be one of them. The AMA is providing $1 million in grant funding to support physician-led projects focused on improving community health, with selected projects receiving $50,000. AMA's Community Health Impact Lab is looking to support innovative, community-centered projects that address a broad range of health-related challenges faced by populations with limited access to care. Examples include food insecurity, caregiving, maternal health, and other critical needs in their communities.
