2018 MSMS Student Lobby Day
Nearly 50 medical students from five medical schools in Michigan met with lawmakers on Wednesday to urge support for more graduate medical education (GME) funding in the state budget, to increase awareness and work on the opioid epidemic, and the importance of vaccinations. Schools represented included: Central Michigan University College of Medicine, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, University of Michigan Medical School and Wayne State University School of Medicine.
