RESOLVED: That MSMS work with health insurance carriers to amend their policies regarding office chart reviews to 1) require vendors, whenever possible, to perform chart reviews on-site at the medical practice where the charts are located and 2) fairly compensate medical practices for their staff time and resources when chart reviews must be conducted off-site, using a copy fee schedule similar to those used when providing records for legal purposes.
