RESOLVED: That the MSMS House of Delegates meeting become a two-day/one-night meeting with the following schedule:Saturday 9:00-9:15 a.m.: Opening of the HOD and report of the late resolutions committeeSaturday 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Reference committee meetings for testimonySaturday 12:30-2:30 p.m.: Reference committee closed meeting for writing of reportSaturday 12:45-2:45 p.m.: Lunch with invited speaker for non-reference member delegatesSaturday 3:00-5:00 p.m.: 2nd HOD Meeting with speeches and presentations currently conducted on FridaySaturday 7:00 p.m.: President’s reception, dinner and ballSunday 7:00-10:00 a.m. Voting for new officers, AMA, delegates, and othersSunday 8:00 a.m. to close of business: HOD meeting Sunday 12:00 p.m. – Announcement of election resultsRATIONALE: The Committee received information that even with a two-day meeting, there are no cost efficiencies because staff would still come in the night before. MSMS Board members and House participants indicated that the agenda is always being evaluated to make it as condensed and streamlined as possible, while including all interested parties.
