RESOLVED: That MSMS work with the State Medicaid and tuberculosis (TB) Programs to make TB disease a qualifying condition for Medicaid and other health care coverage in the State of Michigan; and be it further RESOLVED: That MSMS work with the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) to fund one long term care facility within each of the high burden tuberculosis (TB) counties in the State of Michigan to outfit at least one negative pressure room that would allow respiratory isolation for the safe treatment of persons with infectious TB.
