RESOLVED: That the word “suspended” as used by the Michigan Board of Medicine and the Michigan Board of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons be clarified to indicate whether the physician may practice medicine or not; and be it furtherRESOLVED: If the term “suspended” as used by the Michigan Board of Medicine and the Michigan Board of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons means that a physician is no longer able to practice medicine, that the word “suspended” be included in the MSMS Bylaws, Section 2.30, and defined as a cause to revoke a physician’s membership status in both county and state societies.
