RESOLVED: That MSMS join the Michigan Universal Health Care Action Network coalition; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS encourage its members and spouses to sign petitions in favor of the Michigan Universal Health Care Action Network proposal; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS encourage its component county medical societies to support the Michigan Universal Health Care Action Network initiative; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS assure that the legislature, in enacting legislation as required if the Michigan Universal Health Care Action Network amendment becomes law, define "medical necessity" as being the written recommendation of a patient's physician based on his or her evaluation of the patient.
