RESOLVED: That MSMS implement the necessary technology changes by the 2010 House of Delegates meeting that will allow participating members to receive all handbook, supplemental, and daily meeting materials in a paperless format; and be it further RESOLVED: That those members who want to receive a hard copy of the MSMS House of Delegates handbook for the 2010 meeting will need to opt in via email or by filling out an appropriate form at the time of registration; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS commit to a significant reduction in the use of paper handbooks at the 2010 House of Delegates meeting with the ultimate goal of a paperless House of Delegates meeting; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That the MSMS Board of Directors demonstrate leadership by committing to a significant reduction in paper utilization starting with its 2009 annual summer Board meeting.REFERENCE COMMITTEE RATIONALE: The Committee was very supportive of this resolution, but made this amendment to ensure a realistic goal.
