RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to seek to bolster the Food and Drug Administration’s efforts to supervise the import of medicinal chemicals from overseas and ensure their potency and safety.REFERENCE COMMITTEE RATIONALE: The Committee agreed with testimony that the AMA has existing policy to assure the compliance with U.S. standards.
