RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to seek improved oversight of homeopathic/naturopathic products by the Food and Drug Administration or other appropriate agencies, especially with regards to purity and safety.RATIONALE: The Committee discussed this resolution at length. Committee members were supportive of true homeopathic products but also had concerns that products were being inaccurately labeled and marketed. The Committee made minor edits to the resolved to better reflect the intent of the resolution.
