RESOLVED: That MSMS endorse the implementation of a higher standard than currently exists for the granting of a new, unrestricted license to practice medicine in Michigan to one that requires the completion of at least three years of accredited post-graduate training in an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education- or the American Osteopathic Association-approved post-graduate training program.
