RESOLVED: That MSMS strongly recommend that all snowboarders and skiers wear proper helmets and that MSMS further educate the public about this safety issue.RATIONALE: The Committee agreed with the author’s intent but, like the AMA and other major medical and ski organizations, felt that mandating helmet use would be too difficult and costly.
