RESOLVED: That MSMS encourage Michigan physicians to educate their patients who run or jog to wear brightly colored, lighted, or reflective clothing while in the street when appropriate.RATIONALE: The Committee agreed this is an issue that is better to educate than legislate, but MSMS should support any physician wishing to pursue local ordinances that promote the safety of walkers, joggers, and runners.
