RESOLVED: That MSMS seek legislation that creates equity in the time frames for both the provider community in submitting a health insurance claim and the insurance carriers in seeking retroactive recovery of payments for services rendered; and be it further RESOLVED: That MSMS make equitable, retroactive recovery of funds’ legislation a higher, key, legislative priority in 2011.RATIONALE: The Committee was familiar with this issue and was extremely supportive of the resolution as it was presented.
