RESOLVED: That MSMS ask the Michigan Pharmacy Association to work with appropriate parties to establish a toll-free phone number to report stolen Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) numbers; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS ask the Michigan Pharmacy Association to work with appropriate parties to generate a statewide alert to pharmacies informing them of stolen DEA numbers.RATIONALE: The Committee acknowledged that stolen DEA numbers is a serious issue that needs to be addressed, but more information is needed to identify an appropriate solution
