RESOLVED: That MSMS advocate with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs that physician assistants should minimally be required to complete the same continuing medical education requirements as nurses for licensure renewal; and be it further RESOLVED: That MSMS advocate with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs that physician assistants and nurses be required to complete one credit of continuing medical education in medical ethics as a condition of licensure renewal.
