RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA ask the AMA to suggest that the pharmaceutical companies earmark 10 percent of their lobbying money to establish prescription programs for underinsured and uninsured individuals.REFERENCE COMMITTEE RATIONALE: The AMA has existing policy (D-110.997) regarding the funding and marketing of prescription programs by pharmaceutical companies.
