RESOLVED: That MSMS ask the Michigan Boards of Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, and Pharmacy to encourage federally-funded health facilities including the Veteran’s Administration to participate in the Michigan Automated Prescription Programs (MAPS), and be it furtherRESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the American Medical Association (AMA) ask our AMA to encourage the federal government to require all federally-funded health facilities including the Veteran’s Administration to participate in state-sponsored prescription drug monitoring programs that fit their geographic location.
