RESOLVED: That MSMS develop a mechanism for making educational meetings available at more than one site by simulcasting the meeting live to multiple locations; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS develop a mechanism for recording educational meetings and making them available on appropriate electronic media.RATIONALE: The Committee heard testimony that many MSMS members are at a disadvantage to attend MSMS educational programs due to travel expense and time away from the office. The Committee reviewed the fiscal note and recommend referral to the Board for more time to research less costly alternative mechanisms including expanding the current technology of audio-webcasting, recording on CDs and on-demand webinars.
