RESOLVED: That MSMS provide education to physicians about how to monitor websites that “rate” physicians; and be it furtherRESOLVED: That MSMS develop or identify resources for physicians to pursue legal recourse in those situations where libel, defamation of character, or similar injustice has occurred from a posting on a website that “rates” physicians.RATIONALE: The Committee agreed the intent of the resolution is best met by providing education to MSMS members.
