RESOLVED: That MSMS seek legislation to make bicycle awareness a component of driver training courses. RATIONALE: The Committee heard from those wishing to encourage cycling as exercise and the need for drivers to know the rules of the road for cyclists to help reduce the incidence of cyclists’ deaths and injuries caused by automobile drivers.
