RESOLVED: That the Michigan Delegation to the AMA support all AMA efforts thatallow physicians to balance bill third party payers.RATIONALE: Because the AMA already has policy supporting balance billing and has defined legislative and private sector approaches for achieving this policy, the Committee believed MSMS support of these AMA efforts would achieve the intent of the resolution.
